1 second or a million seconds its still a drawing that can be identified. It's really just a matter of having a mountain of context to subconciously refer to at a moments notice. With enough exposure you can train your brain to make that association the same way you can identify breeds of dogs at a moments glance.

Im sure there is some personal brain wiring aspect to it, since it involves visualizing and pattern finding. We know for a fact some people are better at this than others

Also regarding the post, we know exactly how many cuts Ando did on the film thanks to Horikawa's diary (I dont have the # on hand but I can look it up later). If I remember correctly he's already tagged for a number of cuts that is pretty close to that total but Im not certain

Ok, that's a curious situation, this bank was shared on episode 2, but we don't have the credits for the attack and it looks like a lot Hamano in timing and Ueno for some drawings, both are credited only in episode 1

Timing is pretty similar to the previous henshin by hamano, but drawings can have influence of Ueno, tbh the bank credits for this season is a mess

I'd argue that this does fall under the category of western because it is not an official work even if its adapting a japanese ip, there are also examples on this site like vincent chansard fan animations post #41624 or post #155320

Worth noting for the sake of transparency there's two weak (likely outsourced) dialogue cuts edited out that would have played before the cut at 0:15.7. They were the only reason why this scene was previously split

On closer inspection, the explosion shares enough traits with Guzzu's fire drake explosion in post #241701 to warrant a tag. Even if kathan did the initial pass, the cut is effectively Guzzu's work starting at frame 536. The timestamps he gave also imply he helped with the effect of the vampire bubbling in that cut and the cut prior.
