Goth Loli's batting stance is apparently Michihiro Ogasawara: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ax--x7E2cL8

Taniguchi was called in to do this whole scene, which is full of references to real players and baseball shows. Probably asked by Mizushima himself since they've worked together.
Looks like Miyamori was emulating Hideo Nomo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_4JC3t1Hmo

Iguchi looks like Daisuke Matsuzaka: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YONcTjKEnN8

Ema's form looks kind of specific, but I can't think of a vertical leg kick outside of Korean Gymnasts giving a first pitch.

As for goth loli, there aren't too many submarine pitchers, let alone lefty submariners, but I can't think of anyone specific (everything before she jumps).

The beginning alone, to say nothing of the rest of the clip, screams "Mamoru Hosada directed this film!"… ;)

There are 2 shots with credit goes to a fake name ROSETTE.K, before this Kouichi Arai's part. It may not match the other sakuga shots, but somehow I believe that ROSETTE.K is Mamoru Hosada himself even I cant find any evidence.
Just want Mamoru Hosada fans to know this.

Is this how Eureka Seven was made?
Eureka 7's scene was more a homage to the first Macross.

I'm guessing it's this scene.

Kiss should've been in Kill La Kill. They make a pretty cool boss.
Whats the name of that first animation?
Its all part of the music video linked in the source.

Are you sure this is Shinji Hashimoto?

Probably, I remember that Miyazaki heavily modifies cuts to keep it on model.

In almost every Miyazaki film there is a visual that is so out of this world it just leaves an indelible mark on my brain.
