almost 9 years agoI've been waiting for genga to somehow show up on the internet for the OP and thanks to @honnyaku_blog he got shots confirming: Nakazawa's cut on the OP. I asked if he got any images of the genga for this cut and he did - As you can see there is difference between the drawing styles of the two.
That might not convince you but you should take a look at the way the cel numbering is drawn, Nakazawa tends to only circle the number and leaves the letter alone. As you can see here in another of Nakazawa's genga. However Tanaka's way is to draw a square around the cel number and letter, grouping them together. This is how Tanaka does it for the majority of his genga. I've confirmed this checking many of Tanaka's genga sheets, as well as the Attack on Titan book I own and the lettering is drawn exactly the same there. I think this lends a lot of credibility to the idea that Tanaka drew this cut.
