Slowed down gifs like this are excellent for seeing the unique ways that Matsumoto shatters the bones of his bodies. A moment second only to Yamashita's work on the pain fight for stupidest criticism that is constantly made in Youtube comment sections.

People seem to criticize that one frame of Sasuke whipping his neck without acknowledging that it is not the only time Norio pushed the limitations of human anatomy to achieve an ideal movement.

Very true, it seems as though people think the closer a drawing comes to reality the better it is. That train of thought works under the assumption that every other drawing Matsumoto did for his Naruto stuff was perfectly on-model, which is literally impossible. I've even heard similar criticisms of yutapon cubes being a lazy way of portraying debris.
