6 days agoClearly their intentions werent nefarious, and I regret that this happened, but I cant agree with anyone copying 1 to 1.

Timing and poses have to be considered proprietory otherwise the door is open for anyone of any skill level to just draw over famous scenes that would otherwise take years of training to achieve as seen in the unfortunate example linked above.

5 days agoAlso disappointing to see a set of people change their mind on whether copying 1:1 in professional work should be encouraged or not when it became known that Sato herself was responsible, rather than Park, or some other factor. Kinda shows that they dont actually care about the craft of animation and its all just about scoring points with boosting/hating on jjk or certain people
