This makes me wish people like 10+10 and Ligton were more directly involved in the anime instead of mostly just the endings.

I wonder if they animated this first and then took the live action footage accordingly or the other way around. Either way, it looks really good in the Ed and the mixed media approach is always great to see anywhere in animation
