Now this is a surprise, it's a modern DC cartoon with decent action timing. Any idea about the episode staff?
This is from the Batman VS Dracula movie which had folks like Seung Eun Kim and Sam Liu involved as sequence directors. It has the best staff from the show and its pretty good. Kim's sequences were exceptional though even if they didn't get the best animation. His storyboards were great.

This was also apparently animated by Dong Woo and DR Movie.
dc cartoons suck, I watched the trailer for the killing joke and it looked awful

we'll never get anything like batman tas again
Man, the Killing Joke doesn't look promising but i'd hardly say DC cartoons suck. We got Batman Bad Blood which was actually well put together just this year fam.
yeah batman bad blood is really good, especially the animation. most of the time i feel like DC cartoons is just about the only good thing about DC these days
that last action looks like the animator wanted so badly for batman to do a kanada pose lol
The action is somewhat difficult to follow and the movements lack weight. The former problem could probably be fixed by adding more in-betweens, and the latter could be fixed by changing the timing of the breakdowns and altering the spacing to add some acceleration.

I think it's easily readable and that the relatively floaty, weightless movements resonate acceptably with the flavor of the show's art.
What kinda action sequences suit your tastes most deeply?
