Masaru Sakamoto said he was really looking forward to seeing how this scene would turn out, since it was going to be his beloved senior sushio drawing a character he'd designed - then he saw the key animation and immediately felt like she had entirely been changed to be sushio's own design, lol. He respects him too much to feel right correcting him, but the sakkan for this segment of the movie is kojipero who is on very good terms with sushio, so he didn't hesitate to correct some stuff. It was only then that Sakamoto himself felt like it was OK for him to contribute his own corrections, lol.
