This's one of great Tanaka animation direction, there was a lot of cuts but I tried to keep it in the minimum

Why so much tanaka praise? can someone elaborate other than the fact that he does a ton of KA?

his timing and spacing + hair/effects give his animation a strong aesthetic and generally make his cuts pleasing to watch.

This one in particular shows off his mastery of volume and anatomy, it feels as though the girl is truly moving her head through a 3D space. Just look at how her head arches and you see her scalp before she lifts her head, it's very convincing animation. The hair is nice too :)

It's pretty impressive if he does his cuts pretty fast. He's seems like a "jack of all trades" type of guy too.

I for one particularly like his ribbony effects animation and extremely emotive facial expressions and body language.
